MCU Apps
銘傳大學應用程式平台 — The web application platform of Ming Chuan University
MCU Apps is Ming Chuan University's collection of web applications for university staff and members. Every application lives under this address and shares one university sign-in — you sign in once with your MCU Google account and can use them all. The applications on MCU Apps translate university documents between Chinese and English, track translation requests, maintain the university's official bilingual glossary, and notify you by email when work is ready.
What you can do
Translate documents
Upload Word, PowerPoint, or Excel files and receive Chinese–English translations produced by the system and reviewed by the university's translation staff.
Track your requests
Follow the progress of every submitted document and download the finished translation when it is ready.
Consistent terminology
Translation staff maintain the university's official bilingual glossary, so every document uses the same approved terms.
Email notifications
Receive an email from the translation staff when your document is ready for review or download.

Access
You sign in once with your MCU Google account (mail.mcu.edu.tw) and
can then use every application on the platform. Accounts outside the university are
not admitted.
How MCU Apps uses your Google data
Sign-in identity
When you sign in, MCU Apps receives your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account. They are used only to identify you inside the platform and to confirm your account belongs to the university.
Sending email — staff only
Translation staff may grant MCU Apps permission to send email from their own Gmail account. It is used only to send service notifications, such as "your translation is ready". It never reads mail.
Google Drive — staff only
Translation staff may grant MCU Apps permission to save finished documents to their own Google Drive. The platform can only access files it created itself.
